The Bible says in Psalms 37:23, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way”. These steps began early in the life of Dr. Terence P. Rhone. This anointed man of God was saved at the age of nine and has been preaching since the age of 16. In 1986, Dr. Rhone was ordained by Bishop Charles E. Blake. Dr. Rhone served as the President of the State Youth Department of the Church of God in Christ, Inc., Southern California First Jurisdiction from 1996 to 2009. Dr. Rhone served for many years as the Assistant Pastor at New Gethsemane Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Dr. Raymond E. Watts. In July 2002, Dr. Rhone was appointed as the Pastor of the Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ in Pomona, California by Bishop Charles E. Blake.

Pastor Rhone graduated Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in 1986, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In addition, he obtained his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in 1990. He completed an internal medicine residency at USC Los Angeles County Medical Center in 1994 and completed sub-specialty training in pulmonary and critical care medicine in 1997. Dr. Rhone is board certified in the disciplines of internal medicine and lung disease. He currently practices in Downey, California as an internist and a specialist in lung disease and critical medicine.

Dr. Terence Rhone is a Holy Ghost filled preacher who loves the Lord and who is committed to doing His will. Dr. Rhone’s vision is to impact the community and the world through preaching the Gospel and ministering to the whole man, body, soul and spirit. This desire has led Dr. Rhone to the Mission field. Dr. Rhone has focused on the Mission field for many years and has served as the AIM Chairman for the Jurisdiction of Brazil COGIC from 2004 to 2012. Dr. Rhone as also provided medical mission support to the Philippines since 2007. On November 11, 2012, Dr. Rhone received an Episcopal appointment as Bishop to the Jurisdiction of Brazil COGIC.
Bishop Rhone is married to Mrs. Elizabeth Rhone and is the proud father of three children: Bethany, Samuel and Joel.
